we called for applications through a massive advertisement plan for a 2000€ paid mission:
to hunt down Batman in the game.

OVER 5000 APPLICATIONS IN A WEEK

a psychological test was implemented to help determine their profile: mercyless, meticulous, or rather imaginative ? Candidates were then invited to send their cover twitt directly to the Joker.

MORE THAN 250 INTERVIEWS

were given through Google Hangout. 2 well trained comedians alternated over a week to play Joker. Thanks to an unprecedented facial motion capture system combining Faceshift™, a homemade software, and Unity™ 3D rendering engine, candidates faced the real Joker from the game throughout surprising interviews!

An extensive and unprecedented

use of Google Hangouts:

TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SOME OF ITS INNOVATIVE FUNCTIONALITIES,
HANGOUT WAS IMPLEMENTED AT THE HEART OF THE CAMPAIGN:

  • Connect all interviewees with the Joker in a live video chat.

  • Livecast all interviews on the dedicated website.

  • Record and automatically post interviews on the dedicated youtube channel.

  • Set up a group of video chat for the final stunt interview , use it as a TV control room
    to display any the 5 connected cameras.
